Western Industrial Contractors are happy to display our early images of our newest project in the Okanagan. This First Nations school sits on a plateau overlooking the City of Penticton in British Columbia, with breathtaking views across Skaha Lake and Lake Okanagan.
Brilliant Dam (2010)
Work has begun at Brilliant Dam, just outside of Castlegar, BC. A brief synopsis for this project is to remove deteriorated concrete and replace with new concrete on the spillway and spray wall.

Upper Bonnington
Job Description : The concrete refurbishment of the old tailrace. This work is a prelude to the up grade of the installation at a future date. Our office in Castlegar is performing this work.
Simon Fraser Abutment Endfills
Project Description : Supply and place 50mm MOT Spec. Bridge Endfills at the Simon Fraser Bridge in Prince George, British Columbia. The bridge is currently being twinned by Surespan Construction.
Canwest Mall – Langford BC
Project Description : Work involved the construction and modification of the storm & sanitary systems for these commerical units. A watermain system both domestic & fire. Excavation & placement of gravels for new parking spaces.
Gateway Retirement Center
The Gateway Retirement Community will be Northern Health’s newest complex serving Northern BC and Prince George area.
Fishtrap Island Pumping Station
Project Description : Fishtrap Island Pumping Station. This structure is located over a radial collector well which is the Province’s largest one in production with a capacity to withdraw up to 93 ML/d from the Nechako River acquifer.
Prince George Senior Men’s Stadium
Description: Construction of stadium and dugouts. The new 1.7 million dollar facility was built to provide a new home for local baseball and was also designed and built at National Baseball standards to host future National and Provincial events.
Prince George Airport Parking Lot Expansion
Description: New parking lot and underground services at the Prince George Airport. Worked around existing parking lot, customers and traffic to create a new, modern parking area for travellers.
